started acting up, turning left or right lights come on but don't flash?
Have ordered a new flasher unit in case its this. John

Get a three pin flasher unit apparently they are more robust than the two pin version hours would normally have. The extra terminal is for an earth. My lightweight used to go through 2 pin relays on a monthly basis, I fitted a 3 pin and now no more problems.

I would also go through and check all of the indicator earth connections. I also regularly blew flasher relays but the problem magically disappeared when I replaced the rear chassis wiring loom and added rear earth points straight down to the chassis.

Mine had 4 connections and rusted capacitor inside

I like the electronic ones as do some towing and have fitted a hazard warning switch , flashes as same rate even as timed gives fast flash rate if a bulb fails from memory. Will operate 6 21w bulbs and dash warning lights including trailer warning light.
