Had a great day out with the boys from Bristol 4x4 Club on Sunday, did a nice bit of green laning from Frome to Salisbury Plain...
Being mostly Land Rovers... TD5 Disco 2 blew a rear diff, V8 Disco 1 overheated, 200tdi Disco 1 blew a CV, 300tdi Disco 1 put a hole in the rad overheated and blew the head gasket, and finally I blew my front diff!!
An event full day to say the least! The Disco 2 broke about 5 miles from the workshop so we towed it and changed the diff in half an hour! The 200tdi we went and collected a replacement hub and cv and changed that in the middle of Salisbury Plain and I stripped the cv's and prop shaft out of mine and rwd-drifted it home in diff lock
