Right my newly acquired l322 2002 TD6 has a few issues. The suspension/HDC/ABS lights are all linked to the steering wheel not being straight I think.

An odd problem is the parking sensors don’t work. When I select reverse I get the long beep and the dash light flashes. I have listened to all 8 sensors and they are all clicking away. Any ideas?

For a start get the tracking done and the steering angle sensor re calibrated which should sort suspension and abs out, as for parking sensors have a look on youtube for Powerfulluk they did a video on how check them.

I’ve done that with the parking sensors. They all click nicely.

My Steering wheel is not 100% straight - is about 10deg to the right - and have no issues with the Steering Angle Sensor....

The Lock to Lock reset will indeed reset the SAS full travel information to the ABS ECU which it needs for stability control reasons.....it cares not where the centre is, it just needs to know where the limits of travel are, and then extrapolates the centre point from there.

With an off centre steering wheel (like mine), the ABS ECU will think I am constantly going round a shallow right hand bend all the time, but it won't care that it isn't in the centre....

Obviously, if it is quite a lot off centre then that should be corrected, but a few degrees off, won't hamper things!

I have done the lock to lock trick, both with engine running and via my diagnostics. Still gives me the errors. I will try adjusting mine first. My sprinter was out after i changed the rack and that threw up codes. I adjusted the track rods and now even though its slightly out like you say, it doesnt throw any issues.
