A clicking sound from below!

I have a 2002 disco 2 TD5 manual and have been hearing, when driving with the window down, a clicking sound from below the vehicle. One click when hitting the gas and one click when taking off the gas. There is no clicking when the clutch is operated only when the accelerator is operated. Any of you good peaple have any idea what may be causing this noise? Thanks for any assistance given.

A U joint on the drive shaft would be my first guess.

Found it! Loose prop bolts/nuts at the hand brake drum. Tightened and no clicking now. Looks like a new drum has been fitted, it looks nice and new.... I wonder why?:scratching_chin:
