A bit pricey?

Maybe he paid too much for it, and wants his money back..

Mine will be worth that when its finished though.:p

Looks a mess, engine bay is a state, needs a new fuel tank, clutch is on it's way out and what's all this bollocks about the heaters never working anyway? £8k? Yer 'avin a giraffe!

I just sent them this question-
have you put the wrong pictures up? or is it the wrong description, because I think it belongs in the home and garden>shed section.

Hi, he is free to ask £8k if he likes. he probably totted up the hours spent and times it by say £10 an hour, and added the parts cost.
I sold one recently and we, my mates and me had put in nearly 2000 hours and we sold it for £4k.
and it was historic. you would have to cut a lot of corners to make a profit on a landy rebuild.
I hope that he isn't too disappointed.....

Basic rule of economics - it's not what it cost to produce, it's what you can sell it for.

He can ask what he likes, but he should've done some market research first to see how much good ones sell for, and to see what good ones look like. He is out of his mind, and he is lying, it is not in good condition.

comical. 1500 was a bit brave.

Ha, someone bid £1.50, got rejected, and upped it to £2, why didn't the bloke take a hint and lower the price? I can't believe he turned down £1500, double what it's worth.

I also just noticed that the battery was held down with a brown leather belt, maybe it is an Italian, handmade belt, made from albino albatross eyelids, worth £7200 on it's own.

Classy! - mine used to be held in with baler twine......

I can't help wondering if someone has been told to get rid, and is making every effort to appear to be trying....

"Sorry Love, there is just no-one prepared to pay what it is worth...."
