Hi all,
In the last week I've noticed my dhse appears to have sprung a leak. It seems to be coming from around the middle of the front axle. Its n ot a gusher but there is always a small dried puddle wherever I've parked. Thinking its some sort of oil (really!!). Anyone had anything similar or know what it could be. Getting it booked into garage soon anyway.

Condensate from the aircon? Can appear oily. Or a leak from the engine oilcooler flexible pipes if it's oil.
 
put an old sheet or towel there preferably white, then you will see what liquid it is.

the trouble with cars is that the oil is often flung around the underside by the fan or by the motion of driving. took me a while to find the oil leak from the oil pressure sensor!

mine had the same thing mine was the oil filter housing gasket

Try putting something above the axle (cardboard sheet etc.) you might get a better idea of whether it's actually coming from the axle or from somewhere else via the axle.
