Posted a couple of times already, and I'm a member of other forums and know better than that so here is me introduction!
My names Darryl.
I'm new to Landrover ownership but you'll probably guess that by my posts and lack of any advise to anyone until I got my feet on the ground!
So I've always wanted a 4x4 since I was a kid, not sure why, maybe its to compensate for something
My first off-roading experience made a big impression on me and I've been loving it ever since and recently bought my self an old Disco mk1 3.9 V8!
Figured why not, the insurance was fairly reasonable considering...
and I've got big plans for her, I'm not made of money either so the mods will come slowly and with my hopefully growing knowledge of maintaining them properly to make sure it doesn't cost me the earth! Cause I know they can!
First of all she needs an exhaust lol gurgles too much for my liking with a straight pipe and I'm fairly sure the neighbours don't approve either!
New paint job
Interior needs putting back as soon as I've restored the roof lining to is former glorious self!

light bar across the front
diff, steering and tank guards etc etc
thats the good thing about landies ey?!
Anyway she is fully LPG converted so she is fairly cheap to run as an everyday vehicle.
Also I do have my self a set of (all be it a little worn) mud tyres which I'm gonna swap as the weather is a lot better now back to road standard until I next go laning...
So basically thats it, I live near Norwich sort of area so if anyone local is arranging a meet, or some laning, or even knows of some good routes... drop me a message on here and I may show my face
