A-Bar

I need to pick your brains

I have bought a poly a-bar, display item from LR specialist. I was told it would fit my 99 Series2

I get home to find fitting instructions for face lifted Series2

The a-bar fits snugly up against my bumper, spot on ........

It has 2 part numbers on it STC.......173 STC......174

Will it fit my vehicle? what difference is there?

Went back to LR specialist and was just told to try it

Can someone please advise before I take the bumper off?

hi,don't know any part numbers but you can maybe see mine in the picture..
no need to remove the bumper to fit..
simply removed the grille and you can get your hand in to fit the nuts onto the secureing bolts..
found the job realy quite simple bareing in mind mine was second hand and came with no instructions... hope this helps

My a-bar looks like a later one, square top, where the earlier one tapered up to the top of the bar. Which is yours? What year is your Disco?

99 disco.. i think it does taper away at the top..
