When I got out the vehicle, I took the key out and opened the door in less than 5 seconds. The manual says it will immobilized itself if you do this. Well it did. The manual also says turn the ignition on and hold the fob right next to the key ring, that should release it. Noooooo.
I put a new battery into the fob. Tried the door combination sequence, still no luck.
I have disconnected the battery because the alarm keeps going off each time I open the door or turn the ignition on.
Any ideas. The car has stood for over 3 weeks and I can't think of any thing else.
Oh, I did call Land rover. The workshop Tech said he had not heard of this......I don't think so.

Might be worth popping to the introduction section before the wolfs come out.

Not sure on this but a question for you to ask others does the alarm/immobo have fault codes
