Grease UJs

I'm hesitant on the fuel filter (bleeding) and the brake fluid (for obvious reasons).

What challenges are there with the EAS filters, transfer oil and diff oil?

By fluids its means all including brake And antifreeze engine oil gearbox transfer box and diffs and don't forget the steering fluid if your going to do it properly its all simple including bleeding the brakes following the correct rave Procedure although get yoursself some proper open ended brake spanners as this makes getting on the bleed pipe much much
Easier on brake nipples .

So it's begun:

Today did the pollen filters, air filter, oil filter and oil change. Pollen filter change led to a leave getting into the air system.. drove me crazy for 10 minutes before it got jettisoned out!
My local motor centre can't get enough ATF fluid until Friday, so will do the gearboxy stuff then.

Did you mean leaf? if so a Hoover and small pipe sticking out with your hand cupped over the Hoover tube gives you suction to suck them out;);)

Oh god that was poor :p

They all seem to have been blown out - I used a hoover as best I could but I don't have an attachment that fits in the filter housing, but thanks for the advice :)
The pollen filters themselves incidentally were filthy! As was the air filter. (The oil filter was also black..)
 
When I get my Dexron III fluid, I need to top up the power steering as it's a bit low. Is there a way to tell if it's got Texamatic in it at the moment, and if so, can they be mixed or will it need to be drained first?

black oil is normal,as for steering fluid not sure best to drain and put in fresh atf is fine

Front diff done, a lot of gunk on the drain plug magnet. Refilling via tube and funnel was so boring I'm going to do the boxes before the rear :p
Incidentally it took just under 2 litres of oil before running out of hole

Yep 1.7 litres get your self a 1 litre bottle of the same oil good for squeezing in oil as they come with a tube . Get yourself some sort Of cheap manuel pump for the gearbox and transfer box much easier , some use garden sprayers I use a proper one with a hooked tube on the end have fun :)

Gearbox is done.... I'm afraid to say it was an utterly miserable 3 hour experience :(
I followed the excellent guide on here, but the bolts were a nightmare to get off.. and then getting on.. blueughhh took 3 attempts to get it in the right place and then 1 of the retaining bolts sheered :/ So it's running on 5 which I hope holds it.. I've left the underlay off so I can check over the coming days.
It took about 7 litres of fluid with the engine running.. which seemed a bit low but it was coming out at that point. When it starting leaking out it was not a pleasant colour.. kindof orangy.. Is that because the remainder of the oil that didn't come out initially got flushed out then?
Anyway.. 48000 miles (hopefully!) until I need to go through that again!

Don't know how you got 7 litres in. Normal refill is less than 5. I take you did it on level ground.
