thats a definite issue you should be getting clunks when you apply and let off power,jack 1 front wheel up and with box in neutral try and turn the wheel with a lever on a wheel nut, also its worth removing one prop at a time and going for a drive see if symptoms persist or notView attachment 107005Im sure this cant be good anyone know what causes this not sure if this is causing the noise but im gonna replace it

depends on exact symptoms ,noise on over run is usually diff ,but removing the props will prove that or not, rubber coupling is definitely buggered, viscous could be part of the problem if seized

Noticed something else today while driving if I keep my foot on the gas while driving then shift into neutral while my foot is still on the gas then let off it won't make the noise unless if I brake as soon as I apply even the littlest amount of brake the noise will start and won't stop till I'm at about 5mph

You can remove 1 prop at a time and drive a short distance without causing damage. If you remove the front prop and the noise goes away you've narrowed it down a bit.

Is that safe for speeds of 55mph and do I just unholy both ends and take it off then drive

Remove it completely. Not sure how fast is safe. I'd just do it long enough to test the noise. Guess 55 mph probably OK for a few minutes.

Nah the part is supposed to come in next Monday so ill wait until then to try that. Also do yall have a recommended brand or grease type to grease the ujs?

A tube of lithium grease from your local factors will do. They'll know what you're after. Do it a couple of times a year, more if you're off-road a lot. Not sure how many nipples there are per prop on the classic but check each joint and the middle. You'll probably find a little ball in the centre of the nipple. Sometimes it helps to push that in with a nail or something to just check it is free first. Then pump it in until all the old black grease has been pushed out and new grease is leaking out everywhere. You may have to turn the prop a bit to get an angle where you can get the grease gun in there. As ever, make sure the car is well supported and back up supported when you're under it.

it appears Moron was correct replaced that driveshaft coupler and no more noise!! Now I need to figure something out about my radio and will be cozy I would like to install a aftermarket headunit but im no good with wiring so I wil have to figure that out thanks for the help guys!!

Grease those props though. And change all fluids and filters if you don't know when they were last done.

New head unit should just plug in, standard connectors on uk rrc, think usa would have similar.

Yeah well I was gonna put a aftermarket in the tape deck on the oem one is broken and says there's a tape in it when there isn't and I would really like to install a aftermarket one but I heard that you have to run new wires to all of the speakers to get it to work my buddy tried with a harness I bought and he said it just played static and then I read up on it and learned about the running new speaker wires. Or if anyone know how I heard there is a way to install a 3.5 Aux cable by soldering into some wires or something ik there are companies that do it but I would rather save some cash and do it myself if I can
