busy today I am in the process of up grading my 90TD, 90% off road 10% on the road to get off road I know the disco 200tdi rear axle fits straight onto the 90;) However I have a few questions:confused:

1) will the disco 200tdi front axle fit the 90, or do I just change the centre diff
whats wrong with the axle you have now.? Why would you change the centre diff. just make sure both axles have the same diff ratio.
2)is a 2” lift to much for a 90, would I be better off with a 11/2” lift, i do not want to go to extreme
You are taking the **** with this one aren't you?? If not and you find anyone doing lifts in 1/2" increments do let me know as I want a 2 1/3" lift for mine.
3)will the disco 200tdi wheel rims (alloy I think) be ok to use with 265x75x16 Insa Turbo tyres, or will the rims be easily broken off road? i think i know the answer but as i had the rims was trying to save a few quid
the tires will fit fine and as long as your not going nuts over really rocky setion the rims will be fine. (anyway you can pick up a set of steel rims on ebay for less than £20)
if i get answers i will have enough work to keep me busy for a week..............................................many thanks:D

fooked up with post, thanks to redhand for fixing it

front diff on 90 seems a bit slack and making a noise

NOT TAKING the **** someone has offered me a 11/2 inch lift, now i know what to tell him FO

thanks for the answer about the tyres as u said i agree, i will go with steel rims.......................many thanks

I was just wondering what Redhand had to say about the relative merits of the 2 1/3rd inch lift as against the 2 2/7th that was recommended by a friend of a man who said he had met someone who knew a woman whose second cousin had asked about it.

Apparently the second cousin of the woman who was alleged to be known by the man whose friend recommended the 2 2/7th, ......wasn't.

Please forgive me my sins.........

I used to own a cheep cherokee ltd. ( I know, Iknow but my budget didn't go to a landy at the time and the 4.0 engine sounded so brutal)

You know they actually do a 1.5" lift for them...... I had one.

Was like ice hockey pucks on the front and shackles on the rear leafs.

at least i seen the light and got a REAL 4x4 now.
