90 truck cab to station wagon ???

Can anybody help? I have bought a really nice ex offroader 90 witha 300tdi engine. its got some nice seats etc in it. now it only has 2 seats........Question....can I cange the lid so I can make it into a station wagon? is there an after market kit that you can buy? it is a 1990 G reg, oh and it not an original engine thats why the 300tdi

it is easy and possible, finding the panels is the hard bit... funnily enough i just converted my 90 station wagon to cab truck. and just sold everything through ebay.

going by what i sold everything for you should be able to do the project for 300 quid.

yep it's dead easy - just cumbersome if you move the bits around built-up.

I'm doing it just now to Edith and the flat roof, van sides etc came to £150 plus I got a free windscreen attached.

You might fnd some of the holes on your tub capping are in the wrong place, but it's easy fixed (on mine there isn't a hole half way along each side that the hard-top screws onto, but it's a military tub).

Also you'll probably need some specialised bolts that loose hardtops often don't come with for the rear corners.
