Hi can any body recommend a garage to change the belt on the above in the north east (Gateshead area) and how much I should be paying..it's a 200tdi.

My local garage charged me £350 for a timing belt/kit change on a VW Golf so around the same for your Landy I suppose.

Wicked ask them to change the front crank oil seal while they are at it as if it goes after you have done it you will kick yourself. They will have it in bits and accessible anyway so only a small amount of work extra for them

Job done plus front crank oil seal another one off the list needs the front hockey bushes done now.
