Hammocks possible been done a few times But sheet of ply/mdf supported on the Dash & Bulkhead and at the rear door is also possible. Think about where the windscreen is in relation to the centre of the front wheels and it's about the same measurement as the rear overhang so I'd guess near enough 90"

see your still hear and i canot folt your lodgic. where dose the ply get stored?

Either on the floor between the wheel arches. Or on it's side against the sides of the rear tub. the bit that goes from bulkhead to dash is seperate to the ply in the rear tub. Or it can just hinge and be folded back into the tub area.

ok. i am seeing this all a little clearer. hinged rear tub macking it still yousabull and a separat peace for over seats tuckes behind one of the rear tub trap door type setups when open. that will work.

thanks allot for opening that line of thought

I've got 2 pieces of ply. The first one fits from the back door to the end of the tub, the second piece fits from the end of the tub to on top of the dash. I've got 2 garden chair foams that lay on top. It's ok for a couple of nights but after that you'll want to go home.

LOL. Thanks chaps. I'm a steal fabrecatore so my mind is naw full of 90 camper idears. Would love some detaled plans of a 90 if thay are about for free.

Looking to do this with my Series 88". Im 6'2" and really cant sleep diagonally in the back. Saw a german sideways conversion that used a false rear window at the top of the tub which accordion-folded out and a couple of bit of ply across the tub made for a comfortable sleep. I think I am going to go for the 'over the top of the centre bulkhead' idea for more strength though.

Cant for the life of me find them piccies of that german thing though
