Has any body fitted the 'TGE Ltd' interior panels in their truck? They look good but all I can find about them from people who have fitted them was one two quick posts one person saying they were ok but kept slipping out of position and the other saying they were good and has had no probs with them.

Or what about the Mudstuff interior panels? They look like they would be a good fit but I like the look of the TGE ones better, less plastic.

Anybody any reviews on either please?

Regards
Will.

I'm Halfway through fitting the mud ones (got one side done and not had time to do the other yet..) I 'm quite impressed with them. The colour is very similar to the roof lining and makes it pretty bright in the back. Once i get the other one fitted i will take some pics. They definitely reduce sound and i'm sure they will insulate pretty well.
A bit pricey but well worth it in my opinion.

Every 90 hard top I buy I ply line out with 6mm ply and 25mm kingspan insulation. You'll need 2 sheets of each (8x4ft) and it will cost you around £60. It's really easy to do and makes the vehicle much warmer and quieter. I always fix it in with drill screws so it 's easily reversible, for another £20 you can carpet it all too. Much cheaper than buying ready made panels and as long as you cut accurately it looks spot on. I have templates made up now as I have done 7 now, let me know if you want measurements

Mate if you,ve those measurment s knocking about i,d love a copy, its on ma do to list next month when i,m paid, the back of the 90 needs some tlc, been to busy wea the running gear at the moment!

I bought 2 sheets of closecell foam matting, (like thick camping mats) and have done the roof and the two panels nearest the front of the 110 used Hightemp spray adhesive. looks int the best but it is very effective at cutting down noise. Especially when I'm tyring to sleeps and the rain is pounding on the roof. much warmer anorl

Hehe it'll be a race to that guys stand in January. I have ordered a roll of neoprene to line over it. Thought it'd be good.

templates would be fab, im a builder in sheffield, just aquired 90 tdci truckcab and just about to convert to hardtop

Count me in on templates or measurements if you can post something up, I would like to ply line mine once the mechanicals are sorted.

Same here but I'm not the greatest with measurements so wouldn't mind some 'ready made' ones .

Love the Mud ones but would I fook pay 250 quid for them

You can but they're not cheap. Very few places do them so they seem to have a bit of a monopoly and they charge silly money for something you could do yourself with ply and carpet

With a template and router jigs and a panel saw. Reckon you could knock out a kit for ok money. Add a sound proofing kit and sell purely at shows. Sure to be ok seller. You can get foam backed ply too.
