90 Front Axel

hi lads, &lasses, could anyone tell me, is there any noticeable differences between the front axel of a 90 & Disco 1? Thank you.

Not a great deal of difference, the drive member is smaller on a disco so alloy wheels will fit , and the steering damper bracket is probably in the wrong place.

Thanks Rodeo, I need to buy a new Panhard Rod as mine is bent & my 90 has a 200tdi & auto box from disco 1 & I also suspect all the running gear too! Discs all round & Boost alloys fitted.

Put a disco rear axle onto my 200tdi 90 just had to swap the 3 bold diff flange for a 4 bolt one.
