My 90 was stood for 4 years without turning a wheel all was dry for a week or two but recently one of the swivel joints started leaking so I ordered a new seal and retainer, starting the strip down today I noticed the swivel ball was partially rusted, so an idea right in thinking that this probably ragged the seal when that portion of the ball rotated inwards towards the rubber seal.
What's the best way forward buy a swivel kit and renew?

Probably, but a picture is worth a thousand words - if the surface is pitted, then probably best to bin it, but if its only slight, then the one shot grease might stay inside....

Well, when I said a picture - I did mean a picture after you'd cleaned all the crud orf it  :D

Buuut.... , if that is all rust, rather than crud ontop of rust, then they are probably toast:(
