Hi, it's been awhile since I've been on here.

What with one thing or another marriage/young kids/work I haven't used my 90 for over 2 years now.

Recently I've decided to get it back on the road and although I was running it once a month regularly lately I haven't. Problem is it won't start now.

I have taken the starter motor off and given it a good clean up and I seized it. The solenoid was clicking in but nothing from the starter motor itself. I then decided to purchase a good working order 2nd hand Bosch ERR5009 starter motor from eBay which I fitted today. Still absolutely nothing, I can't even hear the solenoid clicking in. I have charged the battery recently and also tried it with jump leads connected to my car.

Has anyone any ideas what the issue could be or what I could try next ?

Thanks in advance

Jason

The starter motor is now turning over and as the battery looked to be past it's best I've put a new battery on.

Problem is it still won't start just the starter motor trying its best !

I've tried priming it with the priming lever which initially didn't have any resistance so I'm guessing there's no diesel their ?

I loosened the fuel filter bleed pipe screw and while priming it did get some resistance and some fuel seeped out which I guess is a good sign ?

Any advice on where/what to check/try next as I don't think the diesel is getting into the cyclinders ?

Thanks

it should squirt out , you need ignition on to bleed system, take the outlet off lift pump see if it squirts on each pump from there
