you don't want that. Chip the powder coat and water get under it and soon big sheets of powder coat peels off. Paint easier to keep looking nice and any chips, nicks in the paint work can be easily fixed

If it were me, I would get it galvanized, then maybe paint it. That way would be rust free for years to come

They can be powder coated, I don't do it but a place not to far from me wants £35 a bumper

I spray them with red oxide and tractor black paint

I work all around south fylde and into Blackpool, do you do them collected? Would be looking at one around the end of the month. Just bought my first 90 and I'm skint till then

We need a chat about marketing and web presence these pictures don't do your stuff justice (By the way the offer of a proper web site with online ordering in exchange for a rear bumper is still on )

You really do need some decent pictures which show your metalwork off in it's full glory......

I'll send you pictures of the metalwork on my Landrover shortly. The rear light bar is all wired up on the table but I need to fit new tube outriggers before the tree sliders can go on. The rear light covers are on and the front ones will go on when it stops raining!

Hi do you have any pics of the rear light bar fitted? Also do you have a full list of bits you do for defenders?

Stu lives about 25 miles from me and he has been so helpful and his stuff so well priced that I've bought a winch bumper, roll cages style light bar, tree/rock sliders and front light covers. I then asked him to make two things for me that were not on his list, the rear light bar and rear light covers.

The anti roll bar style light bar has 7 front light brackets and 2 side brackets. The wires sticking out are ready to accept the lights. The rear light bar has space for 5 lights which will be 2 rear spots, left and right (indicator/fog repeater/brake light repeater) and a central low power LED light.

Stu will fit whatever number of light brackets you like and the holes are drilled so that you can feed the wires through without them being visible (as you can see in the images). The rear light bar has the wires for the 5 individual lights actually hidden through it and sticking into the rear cab... The same for the anti-roll bar style light bar.

Here is everything but the tree sliders (which should hopefully be on tomorrow after I've got the new tube outriggers on.

Love the look of that roll cage/light bar, but looking at mine it would not fit on with a snorkel would it??

Yes, it will

It works very well and you can feed the wiring in via the roof or the engine bay.

I told him it would

The rear light bar is designed with the bolts going through the body and then there are plates inside. That way it stops nasty little scrotes coming along and unbolting your lights. If you are just having normal lights it will be great if you want something heavy or to allow people to grab it you might want to ask Stu to add one or two stabiliser bars from the light bar to join with the roof top. Likewise if you want your lights to hang from the bar you might want the bar to angle upwards at 45 degrees to make the bar higher where the lights would be. Basically he'll adjust it to your design which is one of the big advantages of Stu's services.

I can't take the credit for the light bar/ roll cage lookalike.
I bought it about 1year ago as flat pack, it come bent ready for welding.
All I did was weld it and paint it and fit it.
My bender is not that good so will not be making any more of them unfortunately.
