I get 68 out of mine on the Flat and 75+ downhill - the noise and vibration can best be described as epic.
50 should be comfy ish, as was mentioned you can corner at that speed with balls! In a leany scary oversteery sort of way..

you havnt got diffent diffs or ratios? Im fairly sure the old S3 one tons had lower gearing

try using high range ..lol

It's running fairly rich as it stinks of petrol and will start with virtually no choke.

i was going down a long hill when i got her up to speed last time lol, mind you the speedo was waving about so much i couldn't actually tell you what speed i was at
