hi guys. Anybody got any idea how much movement i should have on my exhaust.just fitted a complete system and it seems very tight.the one on when i bought the beast must have come of something else as it came out past the passenger side rear wheel.what about tig welding a flexi into it in the mid section as dont want to crack the manifold.cheers stevie a.

all parts are new, it came as a package from paddock that included all rubbers and bolts. ill maybe strip it off again and re fit as im only getting about 8mm of play at the tail pipe.

So are you saying you can only waggle it 8mm back and forwards ? - if thats the case i think youve fitted it wrong as it should be suspended on rubber strips that allow it to dangle.

Sorry about the use of so many technical terms.

i did exactly the same last weekend, with a paddocks exhaust, it seems to fit really nicely, mine does feel tight as well but just put it down to new rubber hangers,

should there be more movement ? mine doesnt seem to be stressed at any point with enough movement (i think) , but then i dont get to look at it when i am on the move! just enjoying a quiet(ish) drive for the moment without the exhaust bashing against everything within reach!
