Dave Hi,

Matt Lee can make a set of 8 inches wide steel Mach 5 wheels for you.
If you do not have his contact details please let me know and I will pass
them to you.

Cost will be around 95 pounds each though.

You can buy the same from Scorpion Racing too.

Take care
Pantelis

I'm trying to avoid that route as I have seen what others have had to do
to get the wheels balanced. I'll be fitting Second Airs too so I'm not
sure what effect that will have on the balance with valve protectors
welded on. Ideally I'd like a set of 8 spokes or modulars. They do exist
but so far delivery times have been around the 6 week mark which isn't a
major problem but takes me a month closer to my deadline for having the
vehicle "ready to ship". (I'm competing in the 2005 Outback Challenge).
The SecondAirs are arriving in 2 weeks and I already have the tyres so,
if I can get the rims, I should be able to test the setup by the
beginning of December.

A phone call to Matt is still my "final solution" though, if all else
fails :) I need to order some spare steering bar protectors from him
anyway as I want to take a complete drag link and track bar assembly
with me and the drag link one has to be custom made.

cheers

Ive just noticed that bronco 4x4 list a few 8" wheels (including 8
spokes) on their website. Might be worth giving them a ring to see if
they have them in stock
