Hi.

I've changed my original steel wheels with 750r16 michelin XPC tyres to boost alloy wheels with BFGoodrich ATs 235/85R16. I thought this would be an improvement at all levels, but i find the steering too heavy and miss a lot the "lightness" of the old tyres. But i love the boost wheels! Question is: can i fit some 750r16 tyres with these alloy wheels on the 90?

Thanks for any information.

thats cuz yur getting a wider footprint on the road from your ats hence more grip.....I have them on mine and the steering is a lot heavier....

i think the sttelies are beeter anyway. you can spray whatever coulor you want . thats good if your as flybirnite as me .

If you have rear drums they won't fit. Change the axle to a disc braked axle and they will.

Ratty - this is terrible news :( :( ;( Is there no wayway Boost wheels will fit a Def with ear drums????? are there any adaptors that can be used to convert?

In any case tanks for the advise - I am not sure what my other half would have said if 5 wheels had turned up in the lounge with no further destination!

Cheers

I looked into a similar thing with Avon Rangemasters. My local LR dealer said no these tyres won't fit boost alloys. I emailed Avon themselves seeking advice and they said there are no alloys on the market that will fit avon Rangemasters. So it looks like a no go.
