I have a boat trailer and the plugs and sockets have all become corroded past the point of no return (my fault, I know) so I've decided to replace the current lighting board with a simple magnetic light set. The extension cable to the back of the trailer is 13 pin from my Disco 4 plug. The new light set is 7 pin ( I live in France) but no problem, I have a 13-7 pin converter which fits tight as a glove. However, the 7 pin part of the converter is female as in the centre three pins are holes....and so is the plug on the light set. I therefore have two female plugs/sockets facing each other The question is, can anyone steer me to a male/female 7 pin converter because I'm not having any luck in France?
