but it is full of some weird wire wool type ****. and the filler neck is on the top of the tank not the side. I fink ya have to open the door and tip the seat to fill it up?

I've a feeling that it comes up behind the seat in a milspec 90. Just doing a bit of research to confirm it.

As long as your's are in good condition and the base cushion pulls out seperately. I'll just do a straight swap. Need em pretty quick though as I need to fit the tank so I can MOT it. and need it to be ready for Salisbury.

well finally bit the bullet and bought a noo fuel tank.
Typical ****part build quality.
gonna paint it and seal the guard to keep the crud out of it. I see they've had the sense to fit a drain hole in the bottom of the guard. So that shud stop it from rotting away.
