6 bolt steering box

Hi all, I have a problem with my power steering ( will not work properly(intermittent ) I have replaced pump and belt but still problem remains. No fluid loss and have replaced fluid and bled. Still remains stiff. Are these boxes easily repaired or can it be swaped for the 4 bolt box I.e straight swap. Any info would be very helpful

Is it a recon box you have on? Have you replaced pipes?

I will do. No I have not replaced pipes and unsure if it's a recon box. Had Landy for 1 year and problem has got worse but seems to ease up a bit when engine hot.

Hmm i would change pipes or possibly the pipes need swopping round.

Changed pipes around no difference all pipes seem to be in good order. Can I swap for 4 bolt box

check damper and ujs on steering linkage ,but 4 bolt box is a straight replacement for 6 bolt box. existing pipes will fit
