6 bolt steering box swap

My v8 has the 6 bolt steering box on it and is leaking like a tea strainer, so time for another. (from what i understand, seal kits dont work too well)

What i'm wondering is, does anyone know if i can put a 4 bolt on easily?

I have chance of a good 4 bolt at the right money but looking for a 6 bolt, it looks like that would have to be new

The holes in the chassis are the same so the box should fit, but you MIGHT need to alter one of the fluid pipes the drop arm should be the same.

It's easily enough done if the pipe needs changed.

Get the 4 bolt, it's a stronger box too!

i had a 6 bolt swopped for a 4 bolt no probs
