53 disco interior lights problem

Hello, wonder if anyone can shed any light on this. Our 53 disco 2 had to have a new ignition barrel so we took to landrover main dealer in Derby (coz their the experts after all). Barrel was fitted and programmed to keys etc. On picking up car, the interior lights are on very dim all the time when driving and when parked and locked up. (They work proper brightness when doors are open). Also the front passenger door no longer locks and unlocks using remote. Dealer says its nothing they have done but all was fine when we dropped it off. Any help would be appreciated as its going back friday and I could use some ammo. Thanks.
