4x4

I want to get a 4x4 for mainly offroad but on road to ive had a rangerover before but had far to much electical stuff and pnuematic suspension and stuff so was thinking on a discovery what u guys think plus ive seen some with no back windows like a van can u get them like that or do u have to weld them up plus which has the best simpliest engine to work on thanks

The vans are the commercial versions, that have front seats only. Either a 200TDi or a 300TDi will do you fine both are easy enough to work on if your handy with a spanner, their biggest issue's though is rust. Have a search of the Disco section as this has been covered many times.

some might say the v8 is easier to work on and more reliable, due to being a more conventional old skool engine and without a timing belt to break.
