4hp-22 4hp-24 auto boxs

Hi all can anyone tell me the difference between the two box's? And is it possible to fit the 4hp-24 to a 1997 2.5 diesel p38? I dont how true it is but apparently you can and there supposed to be a stronger box and there's more of them for sale. My box is shot and needs replacing asap.

See Ovalandrover's thread: https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/auto-box-change.290471/. The 24 box was stronger to take the increased torque from the 4.6 but it is longer. I think James Martin has done it. Datatek might be able to help if you PM him.
