Hi all just a quick question my mate wants to fit 2" spring spacers on his disco and hes currently got 2" lift but what else would be needed to make this possible, ie brake lines adjusting the steering shaft etc.

front rear props need changing for wide angle ones, wheel spacers at least 2" because if you want to go up you must go out, wider arches to cover said wheels, extended brake lines, new shocks, dislocation cones, trailing arms and a few more I can't remember off the top of my head.

if you want to do it right its gonna get expensive try to save money and it will just break a lot.

wheel spacers wont be needed , but all depends what wheels and tyres you fit........ better off doing a body lift

yeah agreed a bodylift would be better. I wouldn't want to go up 4" spring lift without going out side ways. I assume he already has wider tyres and spacer with the 2" lift. a lot cheaper to go for body lift.

Looking at wheel spacers later on at the minute its on 265 75 16 wellers. What would we need to change in order to fit a body lift instead of spacers.

you still got your 90 or you up-graded !!:p
your need to lower rad mounts and possible coolant bottle extend gear knobs , and may have to mess with steering column in engine compartment , im assumming you have a disco now !

Yeah I got a disco got rid of the 90 but then I missed my landy so I got a 3 door 300tdi disco. If it works on my mates disco with the body lift il prob fit one on mine. How hard will it be to extend the steering shaft and all the other bits myself?. When are you out with yours next?
