4.6 will not rev

Hi just had the heads done on my 4.6 hse RR. Had a blow between 2/4 cylinders but ran fine otherwise. Guy that did it knows his range rovers and has done loads of heads etc. We started it up, all fine on tickover,but it will not rev over 1000 revs!!! Pops and farts about under load. Replaced leads still same. rechecked fireing order etc all seems fine. Thinking MAF sensor but it was reving fine before heads came off!!! :doh:Any ideas????

replace old leads make sure connections are correct see what happens

look at the crank sensor loom also the sensor incase it has fallen into the bell housing!
are the injectors connected correctly? are the fuel pipes the correct way round fuel pressure reg vac fitted correctly?

The guy had a look again today and found the crank sensor loose/broken so a new one is on order,fingers crossed

fitted a new crank sensor today and its all sorted!!
