4.6 - Water emulsion on the oil filler cap...

Just given the car the fortnightly oil top-up and found just the hint of emulsion film inside the neck of the oil filler.

had a peek into the rocker cover, didn't seem to be any more down there that I could see.

Engine temp is fine, guage points straight up all the time and the power seems fine. Am I looking at the early onset of failed block or is this quite normal and I should put the matches away?

what i would is drain the cooling system now and top up with RED antifreeze, buy a new cap and keep an eye on it you maybe be lucky and have no problems but you wont know unless you change the coolant.
