4.6 1997 low fuel pressure

After sifting through searches, i've decided to risk asking the question.

so for a couple of months now the RR has been a bitch to start, and idle, but when it goes to gas its fine. cleaned idle control thingy, no change, checked fuel pressure, which was between 10 and 18 psi. From what i've read that's low?
So could it be fuel pump or something else?

SaintV8 might be able to share his pain with you. He's had similar issues with a 4.o litre, I believe but never got to the bottom of it. If you follow his recent threads you might learn something to your advantage?
