4.6 1996 range rover

hi all im quite new to owning my first range rover ive only had it six weeks in that time ive had a few niggles but mainly ive just ignored them particulary the air suspension most days it will rise up and do what its supposed to do then other times it beeps and all the lights stay on,
but recently on startup its started to rattle near the front end ive looked underneath and nothing looks loose also my petrol has a mind of its own i could park up with half a tank then get back in it and its gone down a notch now i know these cars probably have a mind of its own and i was just wondering if any of you guys had the same on your rangie and should i be worried

With the petrol models you can buy a new fuel sender unit without having to buy a complete pump unlike the diesel which requires a complete pump and sender replacement. That should sort your fuel gauge problems. As for the EAS get some software and a cable to diagnose the problem.

right to range rover into land rover garage for a service ,suspension didnt play up they checked it and they even showed me underneath there is no leaks whatsoever in the air suspension and they made it rise up with no problems they said suspension is ok the fuel problem well everything they checked was again ok no leaks or nothing nasty stuck in fuel pipes i asked labout the rattle when it started there was nothing loose before i brought this range rover it had been serviced every ten thousand miles and even though i havent covered that distance i thought id have it done the car did not once play up at the garage and it now has fresh oil and filter and was told that it didnt need anything else done they reckon so perhaps ive just brought the only car that suffers pmt
