Hello!
My range rover don't start anymore.
When i try to start it starts cranking and first it sounds like it is going to start but then it just keeps cranking even when I release key it cranks.

I took off battery + cable and let it be about 10min and then connected it to battery - for 10sec. It didn't help.

I read fault codes and removed them but didn't help.

There was atleast u2016 control module main software.

I drove 30km so engine was hot. It stood 30min when i tried to start it, so it was very warm still.

Yeah there is no fuel pressure.
I tried to override fuel pump but it is dead.
How can I remove it from tank?
I opened both side plastic rings and took off the first piece which might be fuel filter (wires go through this and only one one is attached to this)

On the 2002-2005 models it is accessed from the top under the rear seats, lift the carpet, remove the access hatches, then you can see the top of the fuel pump, undo the locking ring, remove the fuel piepes, lift up, undo the level sensor wiring, and withdraw (I did a how to in the tech section)....

On the 2006 model I am not sure, I would have assumed it would be very similar.

2006 fuel pump is slightly different. Fuel tank needs to be empty. There is 2 access hatches and lh side you remove second fuel level sensor and in rh side you remove fuel pump and other fuel level sensor.

On me fault was burned wires. Fuel pump ground was burned and someone had replaced 10cm of ground cable. I replaced both positive+ and ground- wires from all the way top to fuel pump. It worked 5 days and now it stopped working again.

But now it won't give comfort relay fault code, it gives P0171 System too lean (Bank 1) and P0174 System too lean (Bank 2).

I will check if fuel pump runs when I give power straight from battery.
