So having just realised my thing had an extra 'radiator' what why? Okay so its the one for the supercharger and the aux pump, now seeing that some was wired wrong iv not had any performance issues or anything but curiosity is ticking in my head and
being something new to me I'd like to know when does the pump run is it all the time or on demand?
 
Are you talking about the 1 on the right (stood in front of the car looking)?

From what I can see it runs at a constant speed while engine running or position 2 on ignition.

Iv had this on mine the s/c aux pump runs constantly. Mine didn't throw a fault until hot weather and giving it the beans then restricted performance.

Just turn your key on not the engine and you should hear it running. You can also feel it if you put your hand on the pump or hoses.

Mine was wired back to front from factory I rewired it ....nothing ..whacked it with the end of screw driver it burst into life. It lasted a few days and died.
Don't fit a cheap ebay 1 I did it lasted a week then I fitted a bosch genuin and all good.

Handy to know yeah it buzzes by passanger headlight when keys on pos 2, didn't check if it did or if wirings been changed, not had a fault with the motor just curiosities was sat pondering in my head
