P38A 4.0 vs 4.6

Which one.

If hypothetically i was to go out with a wad of cash and have two PERFECT p38s to chose from.
#1 was a mint 4.6
#2 was a mint 4.0

which one would be the better buy?

I have the Thor v8

But i've heard rumours of the 4.0 being more reliable because its "less stressed"
don't know if that's codswallop of not.

It is just a theory if you ask me....

The 4.6 is more economical (marginally) than the 4.0 as you are not on the loud pedal as much and only needs feathering - so with that in mind, which would be less stressed - one which you are asking more from it for longer or one that you don't need to poke so much?!?
