380 gearbox

Got a gearbox / transfer box, fitted and drives ok but one problem the gearstick is hitting the handbrake when going into reverse, bent gearstick ?, or any ideas.

if you remove gaiter there a 13mm spanner sized bolt you can turn stick a bit if you loosen it

Hi, The stick seems to be leaning toward the drivers side, and not upright as the other one was, i need a diagram of how the stick fits in the box, maybe its not seating right or maybe bent, my disco is a 94. 300. the box is out of an S reg. 300.

Like James said and also check the bias plate or the springs maybe?

gear sticki is in two halves top unbolts using pinch bolt ,bottom goes through top into selector yoke ,its possible either are bent but be careful bending lower shaft as you might break off inside part of shaft

ok thanks, will reply when i find out what it is.anyone got a diagram of the box ?, and can i change the lower stick form my old box.

remove consol and drill out rivets and 2 x screw on cover
