hi all, just trying to change the drive belt in my disco 2 and dont appear to have a 36mm spanner to remove the viscous cooling fan, my adjustable doesnt fit so was wondering if there is anyone in winchester that could lend me one for a few minutes. ive been to halfords, screw fix, tool box and home base but no such luck.

No good to you I know but I have one in Staffordshire, but the easiest and quickest way to loosen the nut is by using a long substantial screwdriver placed on the outer right hand side of the nut (left hand thread) and give it a good solid thump with a hammer. Works every time.

make sure your "squealing belt " is not in fact a leaking exhaust manifold gasket. Common TD5 problem.

I'm fairly sure it says 32mm on the one I bought, I could be wrong though.

normally two sizes - i got a spanner here if its the same as a Disco.
