my range rover sport has only 35000 on the clock only had it two years driving OK then a amber light came up saying gear box problem turned it off recvery took to a garage they said it needs a ,New engine but didn't look at engine only tested it for 10 min any ideas told me £15000 for a new engine can't afford that they never gave me report on what faults should I get in touch with land-rover

Just buy another for a quarter of the price of the engine.

We paid 29000 for it two and a half years ago and we don't know for sure yet if it needs one we had no report from the garage only it needs a new engine
