300TDi Where the feck's the reverse lights switch?

Helloooo from sunny Spain (well it is today! No storms, tornado force winds demolishing local trees and walls and power cables - 2 days without leccy at weekend!) Since our gearbox was replaced in a rush job at Xmas i've had no speedo or reverse lights. Grovelled about under the car, found the speedo wires and plugged em back but I cannot find the reverse lights switch and I don't know which wires would plug into it if I could!
There are 2 green (I think) wires hanging around that have been cut, so no connectors on em and another pair of green (I think!) wires with a single ovalish/rectangular black connecter loitering about underneath, I also seem to remember 2 seperate wires, 1 with a naked spade connector and the other had probably a spade but with a plastic cover on it also dangling. I suspect that might be the diff lock light wires - kept flashing and flickering a lot on our journey down here.
So, where's the switch (idiot proof directions if pos please!) and what connects to it? I've checked the Haynes but the photo doesn't tell me anything really, I can't match it up to being under the car with oil dripping onto me head! HEEELP

Looking in my Haynes manual page 7A.2 it states that for an LT77 g-box at the rear of the transmission slector housing and R380 g-box l/h side of the transfer gearbox casing.

This should help - its from rave! Wiring colours are added on the dia also.

Ok ta, now, if I can just figure out which way round the diagram is.....it all looks different covered in oil 'n crap and viewed in semi darkness with yer neck aching....:dnfnoob:

I don't think so it's winter you know.. It's peeing down now in Barcelona and in Benidorm and most of Spain i think.

That's ok then - he won't get homesick - must be just like Tyneside?

Actually, no rain this week here, mostly sunny in Javea, was about 20 on Friday - lovely! Bit cloudy today though, possibility of a shower or 2 this weekend. Rocket - read me first post in this thread - last weekend no electricity cos of mega winds uprooting trees, demolishing walls and bringing down power cables! Chaos and destruction everywhere....hmmm, Disco, I suppose it is a little like a Friday neet in the Toon!
