300Tdi wanted, £1500 ish

Mine's dead, so I want another.

300 Tdi Discovery 1, road-legal at minimum if I have to drive it home, 3 or 5 door, manual only, not interested in auto. Preferably decent MOT on it to get going.

I'd prefer an unmolested road-goer than an 'offroader' unless it's to a very good quality, then it's unlikely to be in my price range of £1500 ish ... I have all my bits to go on it and a few new parts, but also a whole raft of ideas I want to try ..

Not bothered by distance too much, would prefer within 50 miles of Doncaster though for easy viewing, but if I do buy remotely I'll expect decent photos and an honest description of the bad bits!!

95 5dr burgundy, 124k, tinted rear glass, had new w/pump, p gasket, cambelt, aux tensioner, fan belt, all service bits, full clutch kit with new hd arm approx 3 months ago, having new exhaust on Saturday as rear box been missing for ages, solid chassis, runs and drives ace, dent on rear just above boot, scrape on n/s front wing, rrc bull bar, needs modding to fit propa though, used as a workhorse so not in A1 cond, needs a clean inside. shall get a pic tomorrow for you

Heh, very unlikely I'll be worried about a dent .. or dust, I make plenty myself!! Rust and ally rot would put me off a lot more, overall condition _is_ important ... so ...

What are the sills like under the plastic bits? Chassis, everywhere and body mounts, outriggers? Any welding done to it or likely to be needed? Does it still have the original carpets and undercarpet foam? What is the boot floor like for rust on the edges and round the fuel tank hatch? Rear quarters and wheel arches? Headlight boxes, front wheel arches, general engine bay condition? The more pictures the better, one or two is not good enough for me to travel to MK.

Any mods done to it, de-egr, de-cat, fuel pump tweaks etc?
