Any idea where I could possibly get one for relatively cheap? Only ones I can find available are £100+!

I got one lying in my garage, will check the part number tomorrow.
I think a lot of them have been superceded by the newer part.
I have a Disco2 one fitted in my 1994 RRC.

Hi the one that I've got is AMR3647. If you think that will do you You can have it for £25 posted.
It came off a RRC with airbag and no cruise control if that helps.

Well I got one part, was for the airbag model but just snipped the wire.

Put it in, it was knackered too.

Phoned the ppl up, got a replacement next day, perfect.

You not found any or not found one at the right price? Land Rover wanted like £200. Proper part from I think Britpart or someone else quite big in the game was £180.. sod that, breakers or nothing!

right... i found one yesterday and it arrived today! Fitting will happen tonight... this one certainly has 5 turns in it, but it has exactly 5 turns and no more, so i need to get it spot on!!

Oh, and it's from a P38 seemingly (because it has P38 written on it!). The scrappy said they're all the same, so hopefully it will support cruise control...

Damn!!! I have just paid £180 today for my new rotary coupler...

They have several on the shelf and they're £33 each including VAT and postage.

The P38 one does work in disco iirc.

The fitting does have to be perfect or you'll knacker it, the one I fitted first seemed to work until I went full lock left then it did that ticking/cracking thing and was knackered too!

So how bad were yours before you knew what to change? Mine sent my levers through the dash on a corner!
