300tdi starting problem

im after some advice my 300tdi has been having trouble starting so i changed the starter motor but now the immobiliser light has gone off the central locking doesnt work and it will only start when the doors are shut.If one door is open it will not crank over.Any advice would be grateful thanks

we have checked all the earths and the interours light goes out instantly with no delay

Replace the battery in your key fob and see if that helps

you have to open the door handle, press the horn and kick the battery box *just* at the right time.. :lol:

never had one since ive owned it but a mechinac said its a earth problem round the doors area

My 300Tdi 90 wont start on any additional key without a fob (I had a few spares made a while ago)

My 90 immobilizes without a fob in range on start up,

If you look under the middle seat there should be what looks like the female end of a scart lead, get a key fob made (google it, Land Rover Key fobs) because the last thing you want is it stolen,

Of course that's irrelevant if your 300tdi was donated from another vehicle as far as I know,
