Hi folks, couple of quick questions, im looking to do some performance upgrades to my 300 110, and would like to know what upgrades I can do and at what price. i've been told td5 performance isn't hard to achieve so would be happy with that, but more is always welcome :D. Im looking to install a disco transfer box (on standard 235/85 r16 tyres) in the near future, so was wondering if this was going to affect the upgrades much. Also the engine has done just over 200k miles, and still seems strong, but with and engine with that many miles is it really worth it?
Thanks

300 is a good strong engine so it will be fine, keep on top of it service wise and won't let you down. If you'd of done a search of google or either the forum you would find a lot of info already there. If you've got a large budget, full size or uprated intercooler, variable geometry turbo, performance cyclinder head and open the fuel pump to match. Not a lot more you can do.. Stick a cummins in?

Uprated Intercooler will do you wonders.

As would a new rad,

If you really looking to get a bigger omph then a new Turbo is the way to go,

But I'd rather do the cooling first

I have a disco transfer box, it's much more refined for motorway travel. Could always get a decat exhaust, then obviously a full size intercooler. Allisports do one that drops straight in or if you are a bit of a dab hand at mechanics I am sure you could take one off a scrapped car that has a nice intercooler on it (An old Supra maybe? :cool2: ) and adapt a bracket to make it fit. Obviously its going to need tuning after its fitted!
