300tdi keeps cutting out

hi anyone can help with this prob i hav with my landy ?
ive changed the lift pump as someone said it may be that but still doing the same as before

right when im driving it it will drive for a bit then its like as if its not getting any fuel then comes to a stop

so i start it up again and then runs for a while again,, but then some times like its got no go

flat to the floor and ticks over for a bit till the fuel comes back ....
would it be the pump ????? or air getting in somewhere ????? or ............
**** knows i give up but it can't be much can it .... i hope not

sedamenter will be full o crap or the fuel lines at the tank sender unit will be cracked and drawing air

now tha could be it

but to get to the top of the tank i got to drop it down yeah

ive looked at the tank today and it do look a bit wet around there but its not be leaking much as theres been none on the floor .. so tank off and look at that one on the top then .... thanks for the help

just wish there was some one to do it for me lol ....... ta ....benny

If the fuel leaking out the air is getting in...

Easiest way to look at this and still be able to use the motor, is to remove the boot floor. Not as scary as it sounds....

have you checked you TURBO intake hose, they have a habbit of ballooning when they are old,they look ok from the outside, but when you take them off they have perished on the inside, sylcone hoses are better1

fit a clear bit of pipe between filter outlet and injection pump inlet-run it up and look for air bubbles in the clear pipe.If there is air,you have to find where it is getting in and deal with it.
