Hi I’m currently trying to move the ignition switch from the dashboard (custom job by previous owner) back to the normal position,

The only wires I’m having trouble with is the large red and the small brown , have tried them and both attached to the 6mm terminal (number 3) this does work but I’m not entirely sure this is the best solution.
am I right in thinking that the large red wire can just go to terminal 2 and the small brown to terminal 3
