Hi all,

New to the forum and I'm wading in with a big ask. Equally, not used to writing on forums, so if this is in the wrong place, just let me know.

I'm hoping there's someone who's knows their defender wiring!

I'm rebuilding a 90 and I've got an early TD5 bulkhead. A 1998 discovery 300tdi engine/loom is being used and I'm trying to couple the electrics up. I'm using the TD5 bulkhead loom/plugs and customising the vehicle looms to suit. I've bought the TD5 plugs to suit. Front to rear is sorted as is the wings (all TD5). It's just some of the engine electrics that's got me stumped.

1) I've seen various wiring mods to modify the binacle loom for the water temp. I've modified this.
2) I've read that the glow plug relay wiring needs to be modified due to the ECU. Can anyone advise what and where? I've looked at 300tdi/early and late TD5 circuits and can't relate that to the wiring to what I have.
3) I want to retain the engine immobiliser on the timing pump (3 wires). One wire wants 12v for the solenoid but the other 2 want to be connected to the alarm somewhere. Any ideas?
4) The dash binnacle has the red immobiliser illuminated. Can this be reconnected to the new set-up?

Ideally, if anyone can highlight the bulkhead plug/wire colour I need to connect to, that would be useful.

There is still some circuits to couple up (central locking/electric windows/alarm etc), but that should be straight forward ish. I'm using the 10AS unit from the discovery so just need to find the appropriate wires.

There may be a few more asks to follow, but these will push it along for now.

Cheers.
